While the Ice Cream Melted

We recently went to have dinner at the Nestlé Creamery (Magnolia Ice Cream House during our youth back in the eighties). I suggested it to Husband and he agreed to it with bells on. So we picked up my MIL and we headed for the ice cream parlor. I really don't know why we still get excited about eating out when we don't get to enjoy our food much anyway. This is especially the case when there's a playground in the establishment. Good thing it had been raining, otherwise Marguerite would have probably wanted to play in the outdoor one. Good thing also that MIL was with us so there were three of us taking turns with the little one. Btw, my daughter may be bashful around strangers, but she's quite the daredevil when it comes to play. She also wanted to play with the big kids and was squealing merrily at all the roughhousing going on. My heart pretty much stayed in the vicinity of my throat the entire time we were there.

It might not look it in the pics, but she's having a blast here.
