A Must-have

I just wanted to share this passage... just because. It's another one of my precious realizations. It really applies to my situation. Almost as old as time and probably already obvious to many, but I recently encountered it and it was a moment when God's voice was very clear to me (Aren't moments like that thrilling? Love 'em). Anyway, it's as much for me as it is for anybody who'd be blessed and be guided by it.

Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” – Exodus 33:15-16

I like those verses as well, as you know I only got around to reading the entire book of Exodus this year(long time coming) and honestly, I share the sentiments of Moses regarding the presence of the Lord always being there. I'd rather go through another difficult road with Him than to live with everything I want and need without Him. Given how much better I am now compared to three years ago, it's ironic in a way that I need God's comfort and leading as much now or perhaps even more than when I was really sick...I don't want to forget how lovingly and patiently He revealed so many things to me. I like how I need Him more and more each day as I am still greatly flawed.

At the risk of mentioning Reuben Morgan again, you know that line "One day in the house of God is better than a thousand days in the world..."
I actually also wanted to quote "Let your face shine on us and the world will know You live..."

Sheesh, Reuben Morgan is my new Emily Dickinson. I can quote him ad nauseam, lol
