My Intro into Weaving

I've always been interested in learning how to weave. When I saw this craft idea over on the Crafty Crow, I immediately tried doing it. I have more of the same yarn colors, so I now either have lots of woven coasters or the makings of a mat. One day, we'll all find out what they're supposed to be.

how clever! (and they look great!)
I have to try that sometime!

I kindergarten I really loved weaving, and we used a little plastic (or was it metal?) frame thing that almost looked like that...LOL remember weaving a little handbag...LOL I think I even got a "weaving-frame" for Christmas one year... but as an adult it seemed you had to do weaving full-scale... on those HUGE things..(my grandmother is really talented! but she stopped a few years ago, when her eyesight got worse and she didn't have enough strength either... )...
will for sure have to try this sometime!! :) thanks for the tip!

You're welcome, Annika. :) I would love to learn how to weave on those huge frames. I might possibly take a class one of these days.:)
